Since 2009, the Wisconsin Baseball Academy has offered the most comprehensive training to baseball and softball players in central Wisconsin. Now, the Premier Sports Academy has taken that foundation and has opened the area's only indoor turf training center for all sports.

 

Our Mission

The Premier Sports Academy is a family-owned and operated sports center focused on giving anyone and everyone a safe and friendly environment to train or play their favorite field sport. From baseball to softball, football to soccer, golf to lacrosse, our focus is set on giving central and northern Wisconsin the best facility to become the best player they can be.


Our Facility

  • Field Area 
    • Our field area is 110'x110' of wide-open, turfed space. With 28' ceilings and no structure beams on the field, the possibilities are nearly endless. Field can be used for a 90' baseball infield, a 46' baseball/softball infield, two 55'x110' soccer fields, and more

  • Batting Cages
    • We have a pitching machine cage and 2 cages with actual dirt pitching mounds made exactly like outdoor mounds. Our cage system is 18' high and 14' wide with the option to open it up to one 42' wide by 18' high cage
  • Golf Simulator
    • The state of the art aboutGolf™ simulator has over 40 courses from around the world as well as a driving range with ball flight tracking and club head tracking to finely tune your swing year round

Where We've Been

  • Summer 2008, owner Eric Greening returned to Central Wisconsin to begin training baseball and softball players
  • December 2009, the Wisconsin Baseball Academy opens in Wausau
  • June 2010, as Assistant Coach of the Wisconsin Woodchucks, Eric Greening coaches 7 future professional players including current Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar
  • November 2012, the Wisconsin Baseball Academy opens new location in Wausau on Stewart Avenue
  • January 2014, the Wisconsin Baseball Academy opens 2nd location to accommodate new clients in Weston
  • September 2014, the Premier Sports Academy (new permanent home of the Wisconsin Baseball Academy) breaks ground in Weston at 8706 Progress Way
  • January 2015, the Premier Sports Academy opens its doors
  • December 2015, the Premier Sports Academy holds its official Grand Opening
  • June 2016, the Premier Sports Academy organizes the Badger State Baseball Tournament
  • August 2016, the Premier Sports Academy adds football camps and lessons to its programming
  • November 2016, the  Premier Sports Academy adds soccer camps to its programming
